GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB). Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Our work depends on a Exercise Planner joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army!HOW AN EXERCISE PLANNER (B&B) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Company to Brigade.

Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identify any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training

Serves in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested

Gather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Actions Review (AARs)

Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs

Plan, prepare and execute in accordance with the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)

May serve as a team leader, task leader, or people manager

Perform other duties as required

Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BS/BA subject immaterial; Military Education Level IV highly preferred or equivalent Intermediate Level Education or combined relevant experience

Required Experience: 12+ years of related work experience; Military training and experience at Brigade level is highly preferred

Required Technical Skills: Expert Knowledge of the Joint Event Life Cycle; Knowledge of Wargaming Principles and execution is highly desired; Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs

Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain a TOP SECRET

Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills; Advance knowledge of virtual and constructive simulations; Experience with Joint Integration is highly desired

Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $55,250 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
