Entry Level Engineering Technician (Greensboro, NC)
Compensation: $11.50-$18.00
Geo-Hydro is currently seeking soil and concrete technicians for our Greensboro, NC and our Charlotte NC offices. Duties include field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, aggregates and asphalt. ACI, ICC and NICET certifications are a plus but not required.

Minimum requirements for the job are:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Acceptance from our insurance company to drive a company truck
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to communicate in English
Physical requirements could include:
- Able to carry soil, sand, and concrete samples weighing 80 to 100 pounds and lift them into and out of a pickup truck.
- Able to maneuver a wheelbarrow loaded with approximately 300 pounds of fresh concrete and transport the wheelbarrow approximately 50 yards.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
