Purpose of the JobThis position will assist the Director of Business Intelligence with overall project management and product development (i.e. defining, prioritizing, planning, and overseeing the delivery and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) products) while establishing refined processes and controls supporting the company’s Business Intelligence platformEssential Functions and Responsibilities

Follow standard SDLC processes, from requirements gathering, functional design, technical design, system testing, integration testing, deployment and support as they relate to SQL development projects and enterprise data integration efforts.

Engage closely with business partners and report developers to determine business needs and provide expertise to deliver SQL reporting, data analysis and ETL process solutions.

Development and application platforms including C#, .NET, jQuery, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web Forms.

Support and maintain data integrations in operational data store environments.

Understand components in detail along the data movement lifecycle, including data source interrogation interface types, network infrastructure and impact, tool design and data processing methods.

Track and document development requests through change management ticketing system.

Create, modify, read and understand stored procedures and SSIS packages.

Create, modify and troubleshoot SQL jobs.

Develop, optimize and execute complex SQL queries from diverse data sets.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Forward thinking information professional with a proven, in depth understanding of analytical and statistical approaches to transform the way in which data is translated into actionable intelligence while encompassing a customer focused culture.

Ability to be able to learn quickly, always improving existing skills and developing new ones. Team working, helpful, open and willing to share knowledge with colleagues

Experience partnering with business departments, including Finance, Operations, Marketing and Revenue Management.
