Body Shop Technician

The Larson Group Peterbilt, which is one of the largest award-winning dealer groups in the country is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our growing organization. The potential candidate will perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck body repair technician under minimal supervision. Review repair estimate to make sure all damage and parts are listed. Analyze the best procedure to repair wreck damage efficiently and properly. Repair damage to OEM requirements to maintain quality. Maintain a neat and orderly working area. Proper use and care of all Company tools. Communicate to manager parts that are needed for repairs. Inspect repairs to ensure they are properly completed. Complete paper work as required in a neat and professional manner. Clean repair area, tools and instruments and return them to their proper location. Qualifications: Should possess a high school diploma. Minimum 5 years’ experience (Knowledge of welding, fiber glassing, fabricating). Must have own tools. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Please note this is a safety-sensitive position Qualifications: Should possess a high school diploma. A college degree or a certificate/degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field. I-car or ASE certified a plus. Must have own tools. Ability to work on class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. Please note this is a safety-sensitive position Should possess a High School diploma. A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required.
