Job Description:Coordinates and performs complex electrical/electronic engineering tasks supporting the mission of the department, serving in a specialist capacity for complex projects. This position requires the ability to interpret the principles, theories, engineering standards and concepts of an engineering area or assignment.Please note: This role does not require Mechanical, wire harness, or CREO. It will not be used for this role. Serves as an experienced engineer in an area of assignment.3 + years of experience ideally - can be flexible. Focus on EE experience working with Mechatronics Systems OEM/Suppliers - 1st choice of experience Diagnostics/Troubleshooting experience within the automotive industry - product development experience isn't needed. CAN Experience:

Collect CAN logs from vehicle and troubleshoot (Vehicle Can Bus)

Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics - the motion of the vehicle generated by the steering action, through which the vehicle is capable of independent motion

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Responsible for releasing HW & SW design solutions for electronic components in the Vehicle functions or body controls and body builder specific functions, applicable for North American truck products. Work with global technology development teams (Bangalore & Sweden) to track the platform development progress and also be take part in discussions with Tier-1 supplier of components Follow level 4-time plan activities and milestones Work with component installations for radars & cameras and other ECUs is needed Work with truck integration team for solving issues arising due to it on the component side Respond to defect reports and follow the defect report process for till resolution Document SW configurations for various variant combinations & ESW SW release process is mandatory Work with Canalyzer tools and analyze log files and perform trouble shooting Download Software using factory, engineering & service tools Perform minimum smoke test on bench before delivering to integration teams Take part in PI planning and breakdown features to stories and tasks and follow-up though sprints Will need to work on trucks when needed to de-bug and trouble shoot issuesAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
