Actalent Engineering has a client in Greensboro, NC, which is a multinational manufacturing corporation in the automotive industry, hiring an Embedded Systems Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities :
Diagnostic Systems Design : designing and architecting diagnostic systems that can identify and report faults or issues within electronic components.
Software Development: writing and implementing embedded software code for diagnostic functions; primary languages: C/C/Java/Python
Integration Testing: testing and validating diagnostic software in conjunction with the overall embedded system to ensure seamless integration.
Communication Protocols: understanding and working with communication protocols used for diagnostics, such as OBD-II (onboard diagnostics) in automotive systems.
Documentation: creating and maintaining diagnostic software design, specifications, and testing procedures documentation.
Qualifications (2+ Years of experience)
Proficiency in programming languages: C/C, Java, Python
Experience with Embedded Systems
Experience with Electronic Control Unit, Controller Area Network, Local Interconnect Network, Original Equipment Manufacturer
Experience with Verification and Validation
