Employment Type:Full timeShift:12 Hour Night ShiftDescription:Seeking a Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients at our beautiful Good Samaritan Hospital, located in Greensboro, Georgia. GSH is just minutes from the Lake Oconee resort area and located halfway between Athens and Atlanta. Full time Night shift, 7pm-7am.I. Position Summary: A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment.II. Position Requirements :A: Licensure/Certification/Registration : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.B: Education: Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.'C: Experience: One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years)D: Special Qualifications: Current BCLS. ACLS, & PALS/ENPC mandatory (required with in 1st year of employment if not certified.) TNCC preferred.E: Degree of Supervision Required: Is able to function independently w/ minimal supervision.
