JOB SUMMARY:Perform & oversee the installation and repair of automatic fire sprinkler systems. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Install, Test & Service Fire Sprinkler Systems· Field Surveying· Understand listing of system piping for fabrication· Coordination for installation between trades· Managing cost and understanding budgets· Oversee & assist in the training of Fire Sprinkler HelperREQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS· General mechanical knowledge· Minimum of 5 years’ Experience as a Foreman in Fire Sprinkler Installation and repair of wet and dry sprinkler systems including fire pumps.· OSHA 10 or 30 preferred but not required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Must work in an efficient manner.· Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision.· Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.· Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary.· Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines.Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
