We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential/Community Support Staff for a children's IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) group home. As a key member of our support team, you will provide essential care and assistance to our residents, helping them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to children with IDD
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks
- Support residents in community outings and activities, utilizing your vehicle for transportation
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all residents
- Collaborate with our team to promote resident independence, dignity, and well-being
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to use it for transportation and outings of residents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive demeanor
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
