Pay: $14 - $18 per hour (Based on Experience)
Are you detail-oriented and ready to support the healthcare industry? We are looking for a motivated Medical Billing Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will assist with medical billing, qualifying patients for proper equipment, and follow up for reorders to ensure timely and accurate service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and submit medical billing claims in a timely and accurate manner
Qualify patients for appropriate equipment based on their needs and insurance coverage
Follow up with patients and healthcare providers to ensure orders are fulfilled and reorders are placed promptly
Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and address patient inquiries
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical billing, coding, or a related healthcare field is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with medical insurance and equipment ordering processes is a plus
