Groundworks Trailer Sales and Landscape Supply is hiring mechanic and lawn maintenance worker.
We are a small family owned and operated trailer and landscape supplier located in the heart of Asheboro. For 12 years we have served our community with integrity and great customer service. We believe in being honest with our dealings and are currently looking for someone who shares our core values.
Mechanic -
We are needing someone with a great attitude who enjoys working outside. The majority of your time you will be preparing trailers for customer pick up, completing trailer maintenance, unloading new trailers, small mechanical repairs, wiring and equipment installs as needed. You will be expected to keep the yard and shop neat and in order. Additional job requirements will include assisting customers with mulch and deliveries, as well as any tasks that may arise.
Lawn Maintenance Worker -
We are needing someone with a great attitude that works well alone. Your day will consist of preparing lawn equipment in the morning and then driving to various commercial locations to complete the lawn maintenance needed. You will work independently or in pairs.
We are flexible with time off requests with notice. Daily you will be reporting to the owner.
Required Experience-
18 yo or older
Must have a valid NC Drivers License
Must be able to operate equipment as needed
Must be able to multi-task, work independently & problem solve
Must be a team player
Must have basic mechanical, wiring, & tool knowledge (mechanic)
Must have experience with trailers (equipment/utility) and trailer hook up (mechanic)
Must have previous lawn experience (LMWorker)
Must have dependable transportation
Must be able to work with diverse public
Must be clean and neat in appearance
Must be able to work Monday thru Friday(8a-5P) and occasional Saturdays (8a-3p)
