We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plant Watering Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all plants are properly watered and maintained to keep them healthy and looking their best. This role is essential in supporting the overall health and presentation of our nursery inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Water plants daily according to seasonal and plant-specific needs
Monitor moisture levels and adjust watering schedule as needed
Check for signs of pests, disease, or stress in plants and report any issues to management
Keep work areas clean and safe, including walkways and hose stations
Assist with moving plants as needed for optimal sunlight and growth
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of plants or a willingness to learn
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Attention to detail and ability to follow care instructions
Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bend/stand for extended periods
Preferred but Not Required:
Previous experience working in a nursery, greenhouse, or landscaping environment
