The position of Installer is responsible for performing customer installations according to agreed-upon project timeline and costs. The position is responsible for working with both internal and external customers to ensure that all components of the customer's installation occur on time and within budget.
DUTIES
Perform customer installations according to install order
Operate a boom truck, workout of baskets, lifts, scaffolding and perform work while on ladders
Use and operate a wide variety of power tools, ranging from drills to jackhammers and arch welding
Complete required documentation for each job site and participate in safety training and inspections
Abide by all safety regulations when in Allen Facilities and when working at customer site
Document job status by taking photographs and completing written documentation
Up to 75% travel is required for this position including extended stays and possible weekends

SKILLS
Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Ability to read blueprints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications
Ability to read a tape measure
General electrical experience
EDUCATION
High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience
EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience in Installation, service or similar industry. Sign industry experience preferred
