We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary for investigations or incidents.
Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference.
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations
Military experience or certification can be an asset.
Ability to remain alert and focused during long periods of monitoring.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Private protective services license (Guard card) preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
