We need experienced CNC Operator/Machinists with a minimum of 5 years of experience operating and programming CNC Plasma Equipment and can expertly perform the following duties:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program CNC plasma equipment
Troubleshoot programming issues and work with operators and customer support to resolve any problems in a timely manner
Create nested parts packages and upload them to the equipment on the production floor
Ensure parts packages are organized and released per schedule
Manage incoming material inventory spreadsheet
Support CNC operators and production Supervisors
Assist operators and maintenance staff in the performance of preventative maintenance and/or repairs
Understand and follow QA-QC standards
Ability to learn specific software required for each machine (Pro-Cam, Advanced Steel, etc.…)
Train and mentor CNC operators
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Knowledgeable in metal identification as required (Structural Steel, Aluminum, Pipe, Sheet Metal)
Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good documentation and communication skills.
Vision for success and the ability to develop quality staff members
Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills, coaching, and problem solving
An advanced understanding of product design and operation
Accept every challenge to meet product specifications
Good understanding of manufacturing processes
The ability to coordinate multiple projects.
Knowledge of manufacturing plant safety requirements
