Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial new construction experience for Top Helpers, 8 years’ experience for Electricians, and minimum 2 years of experience for entry level helpers. Top Helpers will have experience reading blueprints and be able to do layout with a minimum amount of assistance from a lead man. Top Helpers will also be proficient in running all sizes of EMT and Rigid conduit from ½ inch to 4 inch, make up panels and do basic terminations.
Helpers must know the basics of bending conduit and be able to assist Top Helpers and electricians. Helpers should also be able to install basic lighting fixtures as well as devices.
