About this job:The Underwriter will be actively involved in underwriting a portfolio of North American accounts within the Global Catastrophe portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Underwriting a world-class portfolio of reinsurance catastrophe accounts;Managing catastrophe loss evaluation and reporting for the accounts underwritten;Ensuring that guidelines, plans and policies are adhered to;Strengthening and building client and broker relationships;Supporting and contributing to strategy and action planning;Acquiring, analysing and reporting on market, business and technical developments;Making underwriting decisions within the authorized limit;Supporting the underwriting and portfolio steering of the North American cat reinsurance portfolio as required.
