We are looking for an experienced and skilled person to join our team. If you have a passion for cooking and working in the service industry and live within a reasonable distance to the Sawmills/Granite Falls area this will be a great opportunity. Chef/Owner has 30+ years experience and ready to build a winner.
Candidates will:
Assist with food preparation and cooking and maintain an organized and fast paced kitchen with high-quality standards.
Assist in the timely storing of food deliveries.
Have high standards of cleanliness and meet all health and safety standards.
Be a team player who responds to the needs of the cafe whether that is washing dishes, prepping, cooking or helping another employee in need.
Necessary Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and production techniques. Able to follow recipe cards and standardized recipes. Set up stations before shift and close down stations after shifts. - Familiarity with food handling regulations, preparation standards and safety regulations. - Excellent hospitality skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences. - Ability to work effectively both solo and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. - Willingness to assist with food production and provide help to team members as needed. Culinary experience in a hospitality setting is preferred
Food Handlers Card is preferred.
