Dental Hygienist
Dr. P Jeffrey Lowe DMD PA is looking for a new team member. We are a tight-knit practice with an amazing dentist and we treat each other like family while working together to help others. As a dental hygienist, you will be responsible for keeping patients' teeth and gums clean.
Responsibilities Include:
Removing plaque from patients' teeth
Screening patients
Reviewing patients' oral health history
Educating on good oral hygiene habits
Taking x-rays of patients' teeth
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Cleaning and maintaining the workspace
Updating patients records
Stocking treatment areas
Monitoring inventory
Scheduling patients
Answering patients questions
Minimum Requirements:
An associate degree in dental hygiene
Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist
2 years of work experience in the dental field
Ability to use an x-ray machine
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Current certification in CPR
Ability to make patients feel valued
Ability to fulfill all job responsibilities
HEP-B vaccination
Punctual
Pays attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work gently on older patients or patients with disabilities
Preferred Requirements:
2+ years of work experience in dental hygiene
