This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Tasks:
- Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, supplier, assembler, topper, hand wrapper, packer, stacker, sanitation.
- Other tasks include standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching.
- Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds).
- Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.
Requirements:
Prior experience is not required. Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
