Management Supervisor
Position Description:
The Waste Management Supervisor of Green Commercial Cleaning is an appropriately
trained professional. A leader that oversees waste management technicians
to help provide excellent service, while assisting technicians perform duties
if necessary Green Commercial Cleaning’s Waste Management Supervisor prepares
reports, schedules employee work schedules and possess the reliability
and motivation necessary for success. The Waste Management Supervisor will
report directly to the Director of Green Commercial Cleaning
Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age.
Education: College Graduate or some college education
Must have reliable transportation
Criminal back ground check form North Carolina
Experience: At least two years as a supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop knowledge of Green Commercial Cleaning Policies and Procedure
Willingness to investigate complaints and find solutions to resolve them
Uses time and supplies in an effective manner.
Provide safe, skilled, competent care as assigned by Director.
Works cooperatively and oversees staff diligently
Communicate in a positive manner with co-worker and community
Maintains confidentiality, honesty and integrity related to clients and colleagues
Assists with hiring and scheduling of staff
Prepares reports for company growth and excellent administrative skills
Oversee inventory of supplies and keep stock

1Job Description:
Waste Management Supervisor is responsible for administrative oversight, recruiting
new talent, and assessing participants on quality of work, planning and
implementing appropriate activities for, overseeing the daily operation of, evaluating,
recordkeeping, and securing budgets. All staff member (technicians, subcontractors)
report directly to Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
a. Engages in and plans strategic plans to better accommodate clients.
b. Maintains procedures for documenting attendance by staff for required
contracts, collecting and receipting payment of fees for service, and completes
bank deposits slips in a timely manner.
c. Publicizes and promotes Green Commercial Cleaning in various media
and recruits new participants.
d. Conducts initial screening and assesses prospective employees for suitable
staffing and makes hiring recommendations
e. Interviews potential clients and evaluates requested scope of work
f. Operates the Waste Management Company in a manner that complies
with policies and procedures
g. Develops and updates as needed materials for promotion and publicity
purposes including flyers, brochures, and publicity releases.
h. Plan and implementing strategic plans to better satisfy customers
i. Recruits, screens, trains, manage volunteers assisting with the program
ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
j. Maintains confidentiality in regard to customers and staff

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
a. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
b. Bachelor’s degree or three years of work experience in a senior management
position required: prefer work experience in long term care.
c. Prior experience with older individuals with dementia preferred.
d. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
e. Must possess current American Red Cross CPR/AED certifications.
f. Must possess and maintain a good reputation for honesty, integrity, and
confidentiality.
g. Literacy in English with the ability to understand, carry out and give oral
and written instructions.
h. Excellent written and oral communication skill
i. Excellent human relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively
and deal courteously with the public, fellow employees, Adult Day Care
participants, families or caregivers on a daily basis by telephone or personal
contact even though they may be irate and unreasonable on occasion.
Characteristics:
Maturity – good judgment, emotion stability, ability to make decisions and
set goals.
Knowledge and understanding of customer needs for satisfaction
Ability to design and implement a varied, structured plan for efficient waste
management tasks
Managerial and administrative skills – ability to supervise staff and to plan
and coordinate meaningful staff training.
