General Statement of Job:

The Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) Lead, under the guidance of the RSOC Supervisor and Site Operations Manager is responsible for Operators on assigned shifts and quality control for superior customer service, production, and output for 24x7x365 operation in conjunction with RSOC management and client expectations. The RSOC Operator reports to the RSOC Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

ª Responsible for creating a positive, creative, and dynamic team culture that directly contributes to positive customer service

ª Receiving shift pass down information, and conducting shift briefings to provide all updates, assignments, and training

ª Maintaining situational awareness of natural and man-made events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for client locations globally

ª Ensure RSOC operators follow proper escalation procedures and appropriately dispatch personnel

ª Assisting the Clients Security Personnel and RSOC Supervisor with the development and/or revision of security operation center processes, protocols, and systems

ª Identifying and routing to Client Security for resolution of any nuisance or trouble (physical security) alarms

ª Position works as a primary operator, actively working alarms, radios, emails, support, and on-call function as-needed

ª Works with RSOC Supervisor to identify process and quality improvements

ª Maintain timely and accurate reporting as required by Security personnel; deliver metrics on performance, output, outcomes, and impact

ª Assist with development and execution of training programs for the Operators in all control room functions and conduct training exercises with the Field leaders

ª Assist the Clients Security Personnel with the development and/or revision of security operation center processes, protocols, and systems

ª Work with applicable Security Contacts to identify process and quality improvements

ª Assist in quality control and oversight for all production, support, and staffing functions in the RSOC

ª Works as a primary operator, actively working alarms, radios, emails, support, and on-call function as-needed

ª Perform other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

ª Must have High School Diploma or GED

ª College Degree (BA) or equivalent work experience in an operations center or dispatch capacity

ª Excellent instructional, customer service, written and verbal communication skills

ª Ability to multitask in a fast paced, at times stressed work environment

ª Comfortable with high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovations

ª Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed

ª Self-motivated, curious, and knowledgeable pertaining to news and current events

ª Good working knowledge of security systems for access control, CCTV systems, alarm-monitoring systems. radio, phone and email communications

ª Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted

ª Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service

ª Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed
