Caldwell Collision Inc. has an immediate opening for a Body Shop Estimator.

Your responsibilities would include the following:

- Participate in Daily Production Meetings.

- Maintain and execute schedules for best workload management and cycle time.

- Provide customers with a Single Point of Contact customer service.

- Provide customers with timely and accurate updates and information.

- Develop and maintain customer contact for best possible CSI results.

- Inspect, analyze, and evaluate damaged vehicles to create proper estimate(s).

- Research and understand OE Guidelines for each vehicle manufacturer.

- Previous experience with or ability to learn CCC One Estimating Software.

- Develop Blueprints for a proper repair plan based on OE Guidelines and industry standards.

- Create and maintain Repair Order folders per company guidelines.

- Contact insurance providers to collect needed estimates and payment information.

- Provide technicians with the necessary OE Guidelines for proper repair procedures.

- Oversee and manage vehicle workflow and throughput.

- Work with technicians to verify complete disassembly to complete a comprehensive supplemental inspection and identification per company expectations.

- Use provided industry guides for proper estimate writing and supplemental billing.

- Submit supplements to insurance providers or customers per company guidelines to get needed authorizations or approvals in a timely manner.

- Compare insurance supplements to determine differences between the insurance supplement and company supplemental submissions.

- Make follow-up contacts with insurance providers for timely supplemental payments.

- Coordinate vehicle owner pick-up times when repair is completed.

- Participate in Management Team Activities to promote the best possible company and employee success.

- Participate in company safety meetings and OSHA compliance issues.

- Attend any industry training deemed necessary.

- Attend any associational meetings deemed necessary.

- Other duties not listed to provide the best customer experience and company success.

Expectations:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

- Have a healthy working knowledge of vehicle nomenclature, construction, and repair.

- Positive attitude with a friendly and patient demeanor.

- Excellent Customer Service communication and phone skills.

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

- Have or be able to learn good negotiation skills.

- Have or be able to learn good sales skills to capture work estimated.

- Basic Computer, reading and math skills.

- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.

- Have a valid driver's license and your own transportation.

- Be on time and reliable. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

- Participate in morning production meetings.

- Have a good work ethic with pride in your work and yourself with pleasant demeanor.

- Be able to work as a team player with and around others.

- Understand the value and need to treat others with respect and dignity.

- Be able to stoop, bend, lift moderately heavy items and generally be able to do manual labor.

- Be able to follow instructions to perform a task with minimal supervision.

- Be able to apply common sense, understanding and problem-solve.

- Performing tasks with a high level of quality mindset.

- Be drug free and submit to a background check.

- Be honest and trustworthy.
