CNC Machinist Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC machinery. This role is essential for producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Duties
· Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce parts that meet quality standards.
· Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges, to verify dimensions of machined parts.
· Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed.
· Work with various metals and plastics.
Experience
· Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in operating CNC turning centers and/or CNC milling machines.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
