Hickory tree trimming and removal company hiring tree climber assistant - ground man.
3 positions available for reliable safety conscious ground men.
Duties of ground man;
Assist tree climber, bucket truck operator during tree trimming and removal operations lowering tree limbs, rigging ropes, dragging and chipping brush, clean up.
Must have basic knowledge of daily operations, chipper operation, chainsaw operation, ability to tie knots, and safety procedures.
Bending, pulling, lifting 60 lbs in various weather conditions. Ability to follow directions given by tree climber - bucket operator and assist with tree trimming and removal operations and following all safety procedures, machine operations, daily maintenance of equipment, safe operation of chainsaws, blowers, chipper, and related tools, rope rigging and knot tying, dragging brush to and feeding chipper, raking and clean up.
Must have valid NC driver's license with clean driving record.
CDL LICENSE HELPFUL.
Reliable transportation to and from shop/yard required.
Hours vary 7am - 530pm, Monday - Friday .
Weekly pay every Friday, hourly rate depends on experience and work performance, minimum starting wage $12/hr, CDL driver $16/hr,
