Role SummaryThe Senior Director/Director, Deal Desk, leads the global Deal Desk team with a regional operational focus within North Amercia, ensuring that all sales transactions adhere to IFS policies, governance frameworks, and financial requirements. This role manages and develops a team of Deal Desk Specialists, providing strategic oversight, prioritization guidance, and deep engagement with Sales, Commercial Finance, Global Revenue Recognition, and Legal.The Senior Director ensures visibility into key deals, proactively identifies risks and carve-outs, manages deal prioritization, and drives improvements in the speed and quality of the quote-to-close process—regionally and globally.The Senior Director will also ensure that all Deal Approval Requests (DARs) submitted by the team are of the highest quality, providing complete and accurate information to enable timely approvals. This leader will actively participate in regional forecast calls, end-race calls, and strategic deal reviews to provide insight, remove roadblocks, and align deal execution with corporate and regional objectives.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Regional EngagementLead and mentor a regional team of Deal Desk Specialists, ensuring consistent application of global policies while adapting to regional nuances.Actively participate in regional forecast calls, end-race calls, and strategic deal reviews to provide deal status updates, identify risks, and address roadblocks.Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Regional Presidents, COOs, and Business Operations leaders. Deal Governance & Approval ProcessEnsure timely, accurate, and high-quality Deal Approval Requests (DARs), with clear business justifications and adherence to approval policies.Partner closely with Commercial Finance and Global Revenue Recognition to ensure compliance with IFRS15 revenue recognition requirements.Oversee prioritization and active management of in-quarter and next-quarter opportunities to meet business targets. Commercial Agreement GovernanceAct as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the sales teams on structuring deals to maximize and optimize revenue outcomes in line with Company StrategyHold ultimate accountability for ensuring all commercial agreements adhere to IFS standard terms and pre-approved fallback clauses.Support the team in evaluating and crafting alternate terms when customer redlines or negotiations require deviations.Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and relevant internal stakeholders to review and approve alternate clauses, ensuring they are commercially sound and compliant with IFS standards. Strategic Stakeholder CollaborationAct as the primary liaison between the Deal Desk and cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Presales, Product, Partner Managers, and Global Operations teams.Provide visibility into deal status, risks, carve-outs, and dependencies to support accurate forecasting and executive decision-making.Continuous Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve approval turnaround, and enhance the Deal Desk’s impact on sales efficiency.Champion best practices for deal governance, contract risk mitigation, and customer experience.What We’re OfferingSalary Range:  $150,000-$175,000 + up to 15% bonusFlexible paid time off, including sick and holidayMedical, dental, & vision insurance401K with Company contributionFlexible spending accountsLife insurance and disability benefitsTuition assistanceCommunity involvement and volunteering events
