OceanaGold is seeking an accomplished Manager – Projects Underground Mining & Infrastructure to lead the planning, design, construction and delivery of our underground mining project at Haile Gold Mine.This is an exceptional time to join Haile. You’ll have overall accountability for project execution, working across engineering, operations, contractors and key stakeholders to deliver an operationally ready underground mine on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
What you’ll do:Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Haile Underground project.Oversee portal and decline development, underground mine design, infrastructure and project execution.Drive performance across safety, schedule, cost, quality and risk.Lead contractor selection, tendering, contract award and performance management.Oversee project budgets, capital expenditure, forecasting and cost optimization.Ensure underground development aligns with operational and strategic objectives.Build strong relationships with site leadership, operations, contractors, consultants and regulators.Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing project team.
