If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for an opportunity to develop your career at the category leader, we have a great opportunity for you as an Ecommerce Content Specialist.About this roleAs an Ecommerce Content Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Ecommerce Content Strategist to enhance and optimize Kidde’s presence across ecommerce platforms. Your focus will be on creating, managing, and optimizing product listings, ensuring Kidde’s messaging is consistent and engaging to drive sales.Key Responsibilities

Support the tactical execution of digital shelf activities, ensuring digital content is engaging, effective, and consistent across major retailer platforms.

Optimize product detail pages (PDPs) by identifying and addressing content needs for product pages, including compelling copy, high-quality imagery, engaging videos, and enhanced content.

Partner with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure product images, descriptions, and other content are accurate and align with ecommerce best practices and retailer guidelines. This includes writing ecommerce creative briefs and contributing to campaign briefs.

Utilize various Content Management Systems (CMS) and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Vendor Central, Item 360, Salsify) to manage and update product listings efficiently.

Review retailer scorecards and submit content improvements.

Help conduct A/B tests on content variations to determine what drives the best results, optimizing for higher conversion rates and customer engagement.

Track and analyze ecommerce metrics (e.g., conversion rates, traffic, click-through rates) to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategic actions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

3+ years of experience in ecommerce content management or digital marketing

3+ years of experience in a consumer packaged goods organization

2+ years of experience working with content management systems

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in ecommerce content management, digital marketing or related

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Strong understanding of retail ecommerce platforms, PIM & DAM systems, and experience syndicating content with syndication content management systems like Salsify and Syndigo.

Demonstrated experience in managing digital shelf content and a strong grasp of Ecommerce best practices.

Effective writing, editing, and communication skills with an eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience with SEO strategies and keyword optimization.

Familiarity with HTML.

Passion for detail and blending qualitative and quantitative information to enhance brand content.

Familiarity with retail media and CPG companies.
