Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in Morrisville, North Carolina. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the configuration, testing, and documentation of Routing and Switching products. Your work will contribute significantly to improving our lab infrastructure and ensuring compliance with Interoperability and Cyber Security certification requirements.Responsibilities: Configuring and testing Cisco products against Interoperability and Cyber Security certification requirements Providing detailed documentation and transferring knowledge regarding the configuration and testing processes Identifying product gaps and reporting defects to the Engineering team Supporting the test team during the certification phase at Government facilities Working on improving the overall lab infrastructure, including automation and test bed standardization Ensuring any deficiencies identified during testing are resolved to closure Handling the configuration and testing of Cisco Routing and Switching products Utilizing skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, and AB Testing Implementing Configuration Management and maintaining accurate Network documentation Contributing to the enhancement of our lab infrastructure using skills in Computer Hardware, Cisco Catalyst Switches, and Cisco CCNA. Requirements Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Familiarity with Cisco ASA Experience in managing Cisco Routers Advanced knowledge in Cisco Technologies Proficiency in AB Testing Understanding of Computer Hardware Experience in Configuration Management Knowledge in Datacenter operations Experience with Cisco Catalyst Switches Cisco CCNA certification is required Ability to create and manage Network documentation Proficiency in Documentation procedures Experience in Compliance documentation Ability to produce and manage Technical Documentation Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
