RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Python Developer in Morrisville, NC. This is with the ODDA-Orient Team. They will be building an Identity Access Management System with a Django Web App Infront.
Duties:
ETL integration
Creating new code
Setting up python virtual env
AWS Deployment
Python 3.8, flask, Django, docker, Kubernetes
AWS for deployment
Networking
REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in Computer Science, System Administration, or related technical field recommended
5+ years of application development experience
Experience in one or more of the following: Python (required)
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience in using distributed version control systems like Git
Experience in working within a CI/CD process and container deployment
Experience developing and deploying IaC with Configuration Management solutions (Terraform, Ansible)
Nice to have:
Deep knowledge of virtualization solutions + experience with VMware/vSphere
Experience managing large scale virtualization buildouts
Experience working with PostgreSQL
Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift containers
Experience with Linux system and troubleshooting knowledge and expertise
Effective and persuasive communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally, to be able to discuss technical issues with relevant parties/customers of all levels of technical expertise
Experience working within a large organization and providing support for global operations
Fast API would be nice to have
Able to work across cultures and time zones
Able to provide solution-specific knowledge transfer, training, & documentation once properly equipped
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
