This role will focus on leading MBR/QBR/AOP process for Pharma Services Group, and provide valuable decision support, identify, and implement operational improvement opportunities. This position is high visible and offers the right candidate the opportunity to make an impact in a growing and dynamic Group within Thermo Fisher Scientific and provides a substantial opportunity for career development and growth.What you will do:
Lead group AOP / QBR / MBR, works as a liaison between group and division / business finance teams, in a matrixed organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance and support to drive business performance and decision-making.
Monitor and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, KPI's, CAPEX).
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and identify pertinent financial highlights, enabling understanding of progress against strategic business plans.
Understands and deploys the best tools / methods to optimally communicate complex data and topics
Develops high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep).
Identify, communicate, and lead risk & opportunities.
Build and develop an impactful team.
How you will get here:
An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required Experience
Minimum of 5-7+ years of business and Finance experience
Experience in leading and running a distributed team
Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization
Proficient at understanding and proactively presenting the financial implications of business decisions and dynamics Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
An ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and strong finance abilities
Proven understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis) and Hyperion experience is helpful
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
