Job Description:
The purpose of the IMC Process Area Team/ Processes begins with the planning for incident management and the identification and assignment of resources to carry out the plan(s). Incident Management Control develops the documented processes to identify, analyze, respond to, and learn from incidents to prevent consequences of unanticipated risks and to manage these consequences when realized.
- The candidate will be a Senior to Mid-Level Cyber or Information Technology Program Management Professional with an Incident Management Control discipline background.
- Preferred Candidate: Current certification in RMM and a current/ previous member of USPS.
- The candidate will hold strong skills in project and/or program management, written and oral communication, collaboration, and strategy development.
- Facilitate, track and coordinate the roadmap activities of Incident Management Controls (IMC) for USPS through (but not limited to) the following activities: Instantiation and ongoing maintenance of the RMM IMC Process Area Operationalize the IMC Process(es) used to establish CISO requirements. Support cybersecurity incident problem and risk identification and management Develop and maintain document process around: Establish the Incident Management and Control Process, Detect Events, Declare Incidents, respond to and Recover from Incidents, and Establish Incident Learning Writes, gathers and submits evidence of activities.
Daily duties will include refining requirements, identifying gaps and concerns in current response procedures for cybersecurity events, incidents, and problems, collecting and recording information from various sources, analyzing measurement/metric data, distributing information, and interacting with stakeholders. These programs work very closely with other RMM programs such as Incident Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management and other CISO areas. Selectee will also support Operations' umbrella program management team which involves incident management, threat intelligence, and eDiscovery.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Minimum of 10 years of IT delivery experience, 5-7 years in a project management role
5-7 year's experience managing projects in both waterfall and agile software development methodologies
EDUCATION:
Minimum Bachelor's degree preferred; Science, Business or related disciplines preferred (Master's Preferred)
CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
GSLC: GIAC Security Leadership Certification
Google Cloud PlatformM: GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification
PMP Project Management Professional
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
