Description We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Processor to assist our client on a contract basis. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Full Cycle Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process including but not limited to data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and overtime, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Payroll Administration: Handle all aspects of payroll administration including processing new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other payroll-related changes.
Payroll Garnishments: Process payroll garnishments accurately and in a timely manner, including wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other deductions as required.
Sage Software Expertise: Utilize Sage Software (insert specific version if applicable) proficiently to input, manage, and reconcile payroll data. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise within the software.
Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Implement necessary changes to payroll processes as required by law.
Reporting: Generate payroll reports as needed for management review, auditing purposes, or other business requirements.
Communication: Liaise with HR, finance, and other departments as necessary to resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
