As a Clinical Assistant you will assist a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner in providing comprehensive patient care within clinical and surgical settings with a professional attitude of compassion and respect for patient dignity.Duties/Responsibilities
Document patient complaints and medical history in EMA.
Prepare patient for exams, procedures, and surgery.
Provide patient education and instruction.
Assist physicians with surgical procedures/MOHS surgeries.
Responsible for stocking and cleanliness of various specialty areas, exam rooms, provider stations, and medical supply areas.
Assist with instrument sterilization and autoclave routine maintenance.
Participate in training of other clinic staff as needed.
General Requirements
Surgical Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant experience
Knowledge of and compliance with HIPPA standards
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Able to communicate clearly and concisely
Physical Requirements
Requires prolonged standing and walking
Requires bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting
