All Care Therapies delivers exceptional care for pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions. As a leader in the rehabilitative care industry, we strive to continually bring solutions to address the evolving challenges of therapy providers. Why Join Us:Clinicians choose their own hours.Quick and easy documentationQuick and electronic paymentFlexibility to make your own scheduleSupport staff is always here to help.COTA Responsibilities:Treat pediatric patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the licensed ccupational therapist (OTR).Monitor a pediatric patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement.Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients.Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records.Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the pediatric patient's treatment program, under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.Demonstrate exercises that can help patients better perform everyday tasks and relieve pain.Complete all clinical notes in a timely manner using the company’s EMR system.Verifies client information by interviewing client, reviewing, and recording medical history, confirming purpose of treatment.Follows treatment plan developed in collaboration with occupational therapist by teaching techniques, such as, the proper method of moving from a bed into a wheelchair, and the best ways to stretch and limber muscles.Monitors activities to make sure they are performed correctly and provides encouragement, bringing treatment that is not having the intended effect to the attention of the therapist.Maintains pediatric patient occupational therapy records by recording client’s progress for use by the occupational therapist.Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered.Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
