Drive a company vehicle, to deliver or pick up client samples and packages within a specified area. Directly reports to Client Service Supervisor, Client Ambassador or Director of Operations.JOB FUNCTIONSOperate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established timeframesObey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation proceduresLoad and unload trucks, vans, or automobilesReport any mechanical problems encountered with vehiclesInspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with company regulationsUse of automatic routing or location software, such as a GPS, provided by the company.Ensure that compliance to ISO 17025 standards is maintainedMiscellaneous duties as assignedWORK SCHEDULEFlexible part-time schedule with workdays occurring Monday through Saturday, based on assigned routes and business needs.Shift hours will vary and may begin between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with end times ranging between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.Weekly schedules and daily hours are route-dependent and may vary from day to day.
