Experienced line chefs wanted for 2019 season for waterfront casual fine dining restaurant, caterer, and private chef operations on Hatteras Island, on North Carolina's Outer Banks. Our restaurant offers world class waterfront casual fine dining in our indoor dining rooms and waterfront decks. The menu changes regularly, and is based on quality ingredients including fresh local seafood, locally sourced produce, and the products of our large gardens and fruit trees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to daily food preparation, sanitation, and working with other chefs and servers for on and offsite caterings and events. Must be outcome focused, able to function as a member of a team and to accept direction and leadership, and able to execute and support an employer's vision. Hourly wage range between $13 and $16 based on experience and qualifications. Seasonal housing available for the right candidate. Hourly employees will have the ability to transition to salaried staff w benefits. We promote from within; our F&B director, executive chef, kitchen manager, FOH manager, and head bartender all started as hourly employees. Culinary staff will have the opportunity to train under Chef Emeritus Seth Foutz.
