The Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Nags Head Oceanfront and the Beachcombers Tiki Hut restaurant are currently seeking a full time line cook, to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week. Lunch and Dinner will be served primarily on the deck under our 35 x 45 foot Tiki Hut. A menu full of island inspired coastal favorites with a wood fired grille. Aloha! and thank you for interest in these positions.
Scheduling Flexibility a MUST â Weekends, holidays, and day-evening shifts are required.
All positions require for you to be punctual - you must be on time to work, in proper uniform, have reliable transportation, and ability to stay focused on your task at hand. We are a hotel open year round, and all of our employees must display high customer service skills. Our guests are the most important element of our hotel!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(some experience required) â must be available both AM and PM
*Dependability, Reliability, and reporting to work as posted on staff schedules
*Following menu presentation to the Executive Chefâs recipe standards
*Preparing and organizing foods for your next shift
*Help with dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and orderly
*Help with receiving, and properly storing food truck deliveries
*Cleaning and maintaining high health and cleanliness standards when prepping and serving foods
*Help with preparing, serving, and executing meals for small to large banquets/weddings
*Understand the importance of and properly portioning of menu foods
*Have great time management skills
*Be able to read, understand, and follow Banquet Event Orders
*Properly cleaning and closing your work station at end of shift
