REAL is seeking candidates for a combined videographer/ photographer position who will lead other key functions in the Media and Marketing Department. This position is a full-time year-round job with health and dental benefits, paid time off and a 401K profit-sharing plan. Responsibilities
Direct, produce and edit product reviews, action edits, interviews, resort and instructional videos for social platforms, the REAL website and in store televisions. Video environment is indoors and outdoors, shop, land, beach, Pamlico Sound, ocean, etc. Video shoots are conditions dependent, and days and hours will vary.
Shoot, edit, and deliver photos (products, action, lifestyle, events, resort) for website, social and print content. Photo environment is indoors and outdoors, shop, land, beach, Pamlico Sound, ocean, etc. Photo shoots are conditions dependent, and days and hours will vary.
Be knowledgeable of and possess the proper current equipment for capturing professional photos and video on land and in the water.
Manage all current REAL Media equipment including all back-up devices. Manage the catalog of all REAL Media assets including photo, video and graphic files through NAS storage system.
Manage REAL YouTube and Vimeo channels.
Manage adobe accounts
Collaborate with Graphic Designer, Marketing Administrator and Marketing Manager to produce new content and promotions.
Acquire vendor supplied and original content to be displayed on all REAL Flagship Store and Watermen's Bar & Grill televisions.
Record and edit audio content for REAL phone recordings.
Participate in design and placement of REAL Flagship Store signage.
Participate in design and execution of email and web banner campaigns.
Create and execute media coverage plan for REAL's annual events such as the Triple-S, Roxy Beach Day and the Cape Hatteras Wave Classic.
Stay up to date with the latest video marketing trends and provide advice and suggestions on how the team can integrate them into campaigns.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be highly proficient with the Adobe creative suite - Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Illustrator and Photoshop and the Apple operating system.
Must have a high level of experience in photography and video production & editing.
Candidates must own all the equipment necessary to capture both high-quality stills and video in a range of environments at different focal lengths. This requirement includes both lighting and audio equipment for conducting interviews and product reviews.
You must have experience setting up and directing interviews.
Experience in creating & delivering content specifically for social media platforms such as Instagram (Grid, Stories & IGTV) Facebook, Twitter, YouTube & Vimeo.
College degree in marketing and video production is preferred.
