Boatbuilding Help wanted. Transitioning from "Do it all myself" to needing reliable and skilled craftsmen to work for the company. So it is small proprietorship, not a large boatbuilding company. We have work available on a large wooden sailing vessel and a new composite multihull design. Additionally there is contract work we do for customers in the area of fiberglass, wooden boats, cabinetry and finish work, boat maintenance, sailing charter crew and captaining. Pay rate is based on experience. Good internship opportunity for someone looking to learn the trade. Applicants should submit a letter of introduction and a resume. Experience is preferred, but dedicated hard working ethic is sometime more preferred, if applicant is able to learn new skills. Work includes physically challenging positions, lifting, climbing, etc. so physical capability is important.
