We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented individual for a part-time Handyman/Painter position to assist with the upkeep of properties in the Nags Head, NC area. This role is perfect for a self-starter looking for flexible hours and consistent, light-duty work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative house maintenance tasks.
- Execute interior and exterior painting projects (touch-ups, full rooms, trim, deck staining/painting, etc.).
- Perform minor repairs, including light carpentry, drywall patching, and light spackling/sanding.
- Address minor plumbing and electrical issues (e.g., changing fixtures, replacing outlets, fixing drips/leaks).
- Complete general handyman tasks as needed (e.g., hanging fixtures, minor door/window repair).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and supplies are cared for.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in routine house maintenance, general repairs, and painting.
- Proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites in the Nags Head area.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties (e.g., bending, kneeling, climbing ladders).
