Junior Project Manager
GameScribes is a video game localization company with Production offices in Los Angeles, North Carolina and Canary Islands, Spain. We are looking to begin training a Junior Project Manager to help operate and oversee localization projects focused around translation, in an effort to expand our operations in North Carolina.
The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for learning how we process files and prepare them for translation, how we generate, maintain and update project instructions, scheduling translation and editing phase amongst our database of freelance linguists, dealing with context and other questions and properly working with the client for answers when necessary, and, of course, preparing fully localized files for final delivery to the client.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma and Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree or further college education is a plus
- A passion for video games and/or language is a must
- Fluency in English and ability to write clearly and concisely
- Additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Ability to think critically and creative problem solve various situation
- Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Other tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, are a plus
- Ability to present oneself professionally through both verbal and written communication
Job will start at $9 per hour during 3 month training period. Wages are negotiable after training period based on performance.
