Laundromat Attendant
WaveMAX Laundry in Raleigh, NC is looking to hire a part-time Laundromat Attendant to assist our self-service laundry customers as well as washing, drying, and folding laundry for drop-off customers. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LAUNDROMAT ATTENDANT
As a part-time Laundromat Attendant, you ensure everything is organized, clean, and running smoothly. Each day, you check the dryers' lint filters, see that the bathroom is clean and stocked, and make sure the trashes aren't overflowing. You maintain the cleanliness of the store by wiping countertops, machine tops, and soap receptacles as well as by keeping the floor dry and clear of debris.
Always friendly and helpful, you handle any over-the-counter sales of laundry products such as detergent and fabric softener. You also assist self-service laundry customers when they have issues with any of the card operated machines, washers, dryers, or vending machines and promptly report to management if any equipment isn't working properly. When customers drop off their laundry, you wash, dry, and neatly fold it according to their specifications. You love working in this relaxed environment and enjoy meeting new people every time you come to work!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LAUNDROMAT ATTENDANT
Computer literacy
Ability to wash, dry, and fold laundry to customer specifications
Exceptional customer service skills
If you're bilingual and able to speak both English and Spanish, that would be a plus! Do you keep your workspace clean and organized? Are you dependable? Do you have solid interpersonal and communication skills? Are you trustworthy and respectful of others and their personal property? If yes, you might just be perfect for this customer service position!
WORK SCHEDULE
The two main schedules for this flexible, part-time laundromat position are typically either 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
