We are seeking a part-time Scale House Gate attendant for our LCID Landfill. The Scale House Attendant oversees incoming and outgoing products. They interact with customers and accurately record information received, as well as collect customer payments.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and accurate recording of all products coming in and out of landfill
Front line in getting new customer information sheet and signed credit card authorization forms
Welcome new customers and advertise products available for sale
Accurately charge customer for services at the gate.
Charge customer credit cards and charge tax if applicable
Receive cash payment and charge tax if appropriate
Reconcile cash box at the beginning and end of each day
Give log of gate activity to Office Manager for accurate billing.
Assist with fulfillment of outgoing services ie. deliveries and pick-ups of debris, mulch, fill dirt etc.
Log quantity of outgoing services
Compare outgoing product to product order to assure completion of orders
Maintain log of ordered vs delivered and give to Office Manager for proper billing
Assist with scheduling delivery of orders
Physical Requirements:
Possible prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
Possible frequent rising and sitting to great customers
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
May be exposed to extreme weather conditions at times (heat/cold/rain)
