Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. SALT Stack Automation Engineer
6 month contract opportunity
Location options; Raleigh-NC, Dallas-TX or Austin-TX. Not 100% remote, but the will start remotely.
Client is recruiting to hire an Automation Engineer possessing deep experience with using SaltStack Infrastructure as Code. This candidate would be responsible for migrating our existing, locally managed Saltstack infrastructure to a centralized Salt Master, as well as making many improvements and changes.
Required:
Salt Stack migration from internal team (Matt's team), to central Schwab system
Deep Salt Stack experience - they need to jump right in.
Automation is a must have.
Python based, open source
Shell scripting is a must have
Some experience with PowerShell in conjunction with SALT
Interview will be 2 rounds, 1 with a tech lead and the second with hiring Manager.
