We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our clients expanding Infrastructure Team as an Microsoft Azure SME As an Azure SME you will know Azure from the admin side and also how to approach from a DevOps perspective. Three key focus areas are IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.


You will be apart of a global team acting as an SME on complex projects taking into account the Business and IT needs. You will be working with other Systems Engineers and you will have a close relationship with the Director of IT.
As idea of what is on offer for the Senior Cloud Engineer I have included some brief points on what they are looking for:

• Senior Infrastructure Expert capable of working architecture, you will be leading and mentoring in the space of systems, cloud and general IT. This will be a first for the team.


• They are exploring Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google) and will be bringing it into production. Looking to this person as an expert. This will be one of the first people they hire in cloud tech. A seasoned professional who either has migrated into cloud or built new on cloud.


• They provide group services for the global company they eventually want everything 100% on prem - at present they are deploying on prem then having to migrate to the cloud - they want everything deployed in the cloud going forward.

Senior Cloud Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or relevant years' experience


• Minimum 6 years working in enterprise IT


• 3-5 years' experience with PowerShell Automation


• 3 years' experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure)


• Extensive Windows O.S knowledge and troubleshooting


• Expert knowledge of Virtualization (VMware)


• Azure AD; Azure PaaS; function apps, logic apps, kubernetes clusters; Azure VM provisioning
