Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Catalyst Switch Support Engineer for their enterprise networking and cloud solutions client in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC).
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide level 3 technical support for our Catalyst Switching products
Analyze, configure and troubleshoot layer-2/layer-3 enterprise switched networks
Build moderate-to-complex lab setups to duplicate and solve customer problems
Developing and delivering technical training's to global delivery partners and other TAC teams
Work with software engineering to improve product quality by filing software defects and testing fixes
Bachelors degree required or 4+ years related experience
Experience troubleshooting network or application performance issues
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to effectively use Windows/MacOS
Working knowledge of layer 2/layer 3 protocols and technologies, including:
Routing Protocols (OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, BGP)
Multicast (PIM & IGMP)
VLAN and VTP
