About the Role This is a full-time role working within the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization at LexisNexis. As a Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert I I , you will have a good understanding of best practices for creating training data and evaluating output of AI models and can execute projects with limited oversight from others. You will use your expertise in the legal domain to create intermediate - level insight s and re com mendations that are critical to creating the best features and products for our cust omers . You will start by working closely with senior team members and , as you progress, you’ll begin to work independently on projects with i ncreasing com p l e x ity. About the Data Discovery and Enrichment Organization Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts are subject matter experts in the legal domain, playing a key role in leading the transformation of legal technology. They partner with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to create cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions with legal data. Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts provide annotation, evaluation, and feedback to their partners which are critical to the development of these solutions. Performing legal research and analysis
Com municating actionable feedback and insights
Execut ing best practices in the creation and maintenance of training data and relevance evaluations
Providing support to Leads and S enior Data Discovery and Enrichment Experts
Participat ing in presentations to internal stakeholders
Advocat ing for Responsible AI
Requirements
Have a Juris Docto r (JD) degree
Have moderate professional legal experience
Be com p etent in legal research and writing
Be a natural problem solver
Have a customer - centric mindset
Be able to collaborate with your team to advance projects
Have basic knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing technologies
Be p roficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other similar programs
Have working knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies
