The position with take the lead in working with executive management team on priority initiatives designed to improve operations and meet key customer deliverables. This position will provide technical expertise, project management planning, execution and reporting to individual project teams and work closely with leadership and the executive team on initiatives.Job Description

Reports project status and apprises management of issues requiring resolution in order to maintain progress on a timely basis.

Facilitates and leads inter-functional area or inter-departmental project meetings as needed.

Develops an appropriately detailed project plan and project charter.

Directs and coordinates project resources and personnel with single point of accountability on project success.

Meets with business process owners and other appropriate staff to identify the project's goals, objectives, critical success factors and success measures.

Provides project specific supervision to assigned project analysts.

Identifies initial project team members.

Develops and reports key metrics related to project expense and forecasted benefits.

Responsibilities

8+ years' project management experience in the healthcare industry.

Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities.

Well developed interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform financial and quantitative analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
