AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental/Civil Engineer - Remediation within our NC Remediation practice based out of Raleigh, NC.This position is part of AECOM’s Environmental Remediation practice and supports projects involving site investigation, remedial design, remedial construction, and site restoration at contaminated sites. The role is approximately 60% field and 40% office and is suited to individuals pursuing careers in resident engineering, construction management, and remediation design.This position is expected to begin Spring/Summer 2026.  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Performs field work including site investigations (site inspections, soil, groundwater, surface-water, sediment, and air sampling), contractor oversight, observation of remediation system installation and operation, and field documentation.Supports construction administration including shop drawing and submittal review, RFI responses, and project scheduling and tracking.Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.Prepare permitting and technical deliverables, including remedial action plans, construction completion reports, cost estimates, and constructability reviews.Works closely with the design team to prepare sampling plans, calculations, and construction design documents including specifications, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Uses engineering software (e.g., CAD, GIS, data analysis tools) to solve routine problems and generate design documents.Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a small to moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a larger, more complex project, following set guidelines for tasks.Attends meetings and reports on project tasks as needed.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.Field work in locations as appropriate (approximately 60%).
